December 2019 Goals: November Recap
It has been a whole year, well most of a year, since I started my monthly goal post. In my December 2019 goals you might find a surprise, or not…
I know that I am late in getting my December 2019 goals to you. But I felt it was important to get some gift guides out to you last week. In case you missed it here are my kid’s, women’s, and men’s gift guides.
I really can’t believe that this is my last goal post for the 2019 year. I am excited about all that I was able to accomplish. I’m telling you, having monthly goals has been a game changer with me getting more done.
November 2019 Goals
Personal Goals
- Garage
- Random Finishes
- Master Bedroom
Garage
Half of our garage was worked on and mostly finished when we made our home gym. We still had half of the garage to clean out and organize. We got the major corner done. And when I say we, I mean Eddy.
On one of his days off he hung a new shelf, organized his tools and boot shelf. It looks so much better. Now all we have is the wall of stuff we don’t want. I might be easiest to just take it to Good Will or to others who could need it more then we can.
Random Finishes
After my second month of having random finishes on my list I got a few done. I didn’t make a huge dent in my random list of things I want to get done. So I’ll have to keep working on those.
Master Bedroom
I had major plans to clean out my bedroom and decorate it. In all of our 11 years of marriage we have never really decorated our bedroom. I was having fun looking at Pinterest for ideas.
Then I got overwhelmed and had to stop. I have no idea what I want to do with my room. I’m completely stumped. If you have any good ideas, please leave me a comment below. 🙂
I did get the top drawer in my nightstand cleaned out and organized, my closet and clothes got a one over. And the random box sitting in the corner by my nightstand that had been collecting dust for 4 and a half years is GONE! YES!!!
Overall I’m happy with the progress we made during November. I thought for sure that we would be able to spend more time during the week of Thanksgiving break. Eddy had a ton of days off. We filled those days with family fun. I don’t regret that at all!
December 2019 Goals
Personal Goals
This may come as a shocker but I’m going to keep the same goals I had from November. Why, you ask? After looking at my Simplifying graphic organizers (you can get your here for free🙂 ) I realized that those are the last things I need to do in order of getting my whole house organized!!

We need to decide what we want to do with the rest of the things that we don’t need. Then it will be a matter of organizing the book cases and the wall. Eddy and I should be able to do this in one morning.
Random Finishes
You guys! I just had a light bulb idea! YES! My kiddos have cleaning sticks that they need to do daily, during the school year it’s just one. The idea popped into my head that instead of doing our normal cleaning sticks for each day I should have them help me with my random finishes.
This will help get my kids involved and get some things crossed off my list. Now I’m getting pumped to get started! Let’s see how my kids feel about this… haha!
Master Bedroom
With the exception of Eddy’s nightstand and the bottom drawer of my nightstand we are done going through things in our bedroom. We have lots of deep cleaning to do. All of the cleaning can be done in a morning or afternoon on a day that Eddy is home.
I have some very trendy and decorating blesses sisters. I think I need to have them come help me decide what to do with my master bedroom. The furniture is where is will be. It’s just a matter of deciding and making a headboard, accent wall, etc. and of course decorating it a bit.
Work Goals
Unlike my personal goals for last month I got ALL of my work goals done for November. It was awesome and a first. So my new work goals are:
- Pinterest Pins
- WordPress Course
- A Surprise in the works
I don’t know about you but making monthly goals has been game changer for me. How about you? Have you been making mini goals to complete a bigger picture?
As we end the year and I do my December 2019 goals I am both sad to see this year end. But at the same time I’m excited for 2020! I have many plans for the goals I want to accomplish.
Again, I will do monthly goes and keep you posted. This helps me and I hope it has been helpful for you as well.
Happy goal getting!
