Sunday Motivation: Felt With The Heart

With Valentine’s Day this week I thought this would be a fitting quote. Valentine’s Day is all about showing love for those we care about. It’s wonderful to be able to have felt with the heart the love that others have for us.

Felt With The Heart

Feelings and emotions can and do play a huge part of our daily lives. How many times had your heart been changed by a loving action or deed from someone else? Something as simple as a smile.

I know there have been times that I am a grump! A stranger has no idea what’s going on inside of me. But when they smile at me I can feel their warmth. My insides start to melt and I felt with my heart their happiness.

Here is a list of things that when felt with my heart I can feel a change within me. A change for the better.

  • a child giggling (times by one million when it’s one of my kiddos)
  • a song that speaks to me
  • a hug
  • a smile
  • someone taking time to do something nice for me
  • an unexpected text from someone
  • spending time with loved ones
  • self time
  • working out
  • a good smelling candle
  • a clean and organized room or house
  • accomplishing something hard
  • a flower
  • someone serving me, my family, or anyone else
  • being in nature
  • meeting a goal

There are so many wonderful things in the world that can bring our hearts joy. What are some things that bring your heart joy? What are some amazing things you have felt with the heart, your heart?
