Oh my heavens!! You guys! I’m so very excited to share with you something I have been working on for about a week. I created my first ever online course. It is a free 5 day self-help course.
Why? Well, I have been thinking with all of Covid-19, social distancing, homeschooling, possibly bad weather, and a slew of other things I felt I needed to do something to help others.
My Free 5 Day Self-Help Course was born!!
If we’re going to be talking about being an expert I am going to lay it all out on the line for you. Yes, I’m going to toot my own horn for a minute, and it’s very hard. But I feel it will be important for you to understand some of the things I have been through and my experiences.
As I mentioned I feel like I am an expert in having depression and anxiety, I know first hand. I have been in therapy, tried many things, learned and grown from all my efforts. And I am willing and wanting to share what I have learned over the years.
I am an expert in being a working full time mom, working part time mom, stay at home mom, and now a working/stay at home mom. Expert may be an over statement… I have experienced all types of working, not working, and motherhood.
Now to the part where I have been educationally trained… I have my bachelors in Elementary Education, my masters in Education with a focus on reading, my ESL endorsement, my Reading endorsement, Technology endorsement, trained in Early Steps and Next Steps, taken many classes and coursed while I was teaching.
I may be a bit of a nerd (and proud of it!). But some of my favorite books were reading educational books. That’s pretty much all the books I read while I was teaching. I taught first grade for 9 years. Before I taught I worked in schools for years doing many different jobs working with students.
But, really why a free 5 day self-help course? As I was thinking of ways I could help people in a very weird situation that’s happening right now I thought why not put some of my knowledge, experiences, and expertise to good use in an online.
So that is what I did. I feel this will be so helpful for those who already have depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues. This is also good for anyone at anytime in any situation.
In this course we will talk about 4 ways to help yourself become the best you. It is a mini course so we will get the basic ideas. I am working on a full paid course with so much goodness.
