At A Red Hair Girl sterling silver and 14k gold filled are used. 14k gold filled is different from 14k gold plated because gold is mixed with other materials making it more durable and longer lasting. Sterling silver and 14k gold filled are both durable and low maintenance materials. These are both great options for permanent jewelry. They can both withstand everyday wear and tear.

Maintenance
Gently wipe jewelry with a soft cloth to remove any dirt and oil. You can also clean your chains with a drop of soap and warm water. Then pat dry with a dry cloth.
You will want to clean your chains after they have been exposed to chemicals. Some chemicals (chlorine, perfume, lotions, saltwater) can make your chains oxidize faster.
A good habit to get into is to wash your bracelets when you wash your hands. This will also work when showering to wash your necklaces, bracelets, and anklets.
How To Remove
When you no longer want your permanent jewelry or need to take it off, it is a very simple process. Find your jump ring and cut it open. This will preserve your chain in case you wish to use it again in the future.
If you bought your chain from A Red Hair Girl, you could get it welded again at no charge if you simply need a new jump ring, and you have your original chain you bought.

A Red Hair Girl does parties, birthdays, girl’s nights, bridal showers, wedding parties, weddings, bachelorette and bachelor parties, baby showers, pop up events, and shows. Booking is easy! Click on the calendar to see what days and times are available.
A Red Hair Girl will come to the location of your choosing and set up with all the supplies. The only thing needed is access to an outlet. Set up time takes around 30 minutes. There is a $25 travel fee for locations 30+ miles from Sandy, UT.
A $50 deposit fee is required at booking. The deposit fee is 100% refundable after the event is completed.
